Barnacles Outdoors started with a simple goal: make it easier to find solid outdoor gear without digging through a hundred tabs and sketchy listings. We're based in Chicago, and we curate gear for the beach, the trail, and everywhere in between — paddle boards, grills, solar power stations, cargo racks, fishing gear, and the everyday gear that makes time outside better.
We work with manufacturers and fulfillment partners to get your order to you as efficiently as possible, which means we can offer good gear at fair prices without the overhead of a traditional retail warehouse.

What to expect when you order
30-day returns. You have 30 days from delivery to request a return on unused items in original packaging. Full terms are in our Refund policy.
Ships from the United States. All orders ship from US-based fulfillment partners. Most items dispatch within 5 to 8 business days. After dispatch, standard items typically arrive in 3-7 business days, and oversized items such as grills and paddle boards in 5-10 business days. Full details are in our Shipping policy.
Shipping cost. Free US shipping on orders of $99 or more. Orders under $99 ship at a $12.95 flat rate.
Secure checkout. This store runs on Shopify with SSL encryption on every page. We accept Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay, and we never see or store your card details.
